Here's a quick meal that I would like to dedicate to all Catholics out there. If keeping your "no meat Friday" is a challenge, here's a quick and delicious alternative to help you fulfill your religious duties.
Again, this is so easy that it falls into one of my "no measure, no pressure" recipes.
The Big Idea:
- Saute tuna
- Toss over pasta
Ingredients:
Serves 2
Cooked spaghetti for 2
1 5 oz. can tuna (drained)
2-3 cloves garlic (minced)
about 1/2 cup chopped brown onions
about 3 Tablespoons olive oil
salt to taste
red pepper flakes to taste
parmesean cheese to taste
Procedure:
1. Heat up the olive on low heat. Lightly brown the garlic. Add in the onions until slightly transluscent.
2. Add in tuna. Season with salt and red pepper flakes.
3. Toss over cooked pasta. Season with parmesean cheese. Serve immediately. -GG-
