Hello again everyone! Between trick or treating and yesterday's presidential election, Veggie Girl and I have been busy all week. But here I am again, and I am glad I was able to snap some pictures I can share with you all.
Here's a "quick-fixin" salad ideal when you are cutting your consumption of meat. If you are like me, I continue to be omnivorous, but I understand the need to eat more veggies, so here's one delicious salad with very little prepping.
As you may know, I'm a "no measure, no pressure" kind of cook, so I will just provide you with the ingredients here, and you figure it out according to your taste. Don't worry, this is so easy.
The dressing I used here is store-bought made by Briannas, but if you want to make you own, you can try my very own recipe here.
Ingredients:
Romaine lettuce
thinly sliced rib eye steak (available at 99 Ranch)
green onion
Asian dressing
Procedure:
1. Wash, cut-up and drain the lettuce, and green onion
2. Using very little oil, just enough to coat the pan, pan-fry the meat until slightly crisp at the edges.
3. Lay the pan-fried meat over greens. Top with green onions and dressing. Serve immediately. Enjoy! -GG-
