Panko Crusted Teriyaki Tilapia Fillet

Boy, that's a mouthful of a title. LOL!  Fortunately it doesn't take as much effort to make as it is to say it.  Here's another quick and easy delicious meal.

You can be creative as to what sides you can serve with it. I served mine with steamed broccoli, buttered corn, or rice pilaf.  Enoy. -GG-

Ingredients:

Serves 2

2 tilapia fillets (in the freezer section of your grocery)
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
about 1/2 cup Japanese-style breadcrumbs or panko (here)
cooking oil for frying

Procedure:

1.  Pour teriyaki sauce in a shallow bowl.  Carefully lay the tilapia fillets in it.  Marinate for about 15 minutes on each side.

2.  Heat up the oil on medium heat.  Place the bread crumbs or panko in a separate shallow bowl.  When the oil is heated up, transfer one fillet at a time into the bowl of bread crumbs.  Coat both sides of the fish and carefully place them in the frying pan, and cook until golden brown.
