Shrimp Scampi

Ok, I'm gonnna make this quick.  It's the season premier of Dancing with the Stars, that's why.  Yeah, truth be known, I'm a fan of DWS.  So, I'm gonna get on with the recipe.  It's also easy to make by the way. -GG-

Ingredients:

1/2 lb. shrimps
2 cloves garlic (minced)
3 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon paprika
dried parsley (a few pinches)
1/4 cup white wine
spaghetti (enough for two)
salt to taste

Procedure:

1. Cook the spaghetti al dente.

2.  Heat up the olive oil on medium heat.  Add the garlic and cook for about 20 seconds.  Add the shrimps, wine and paprika.  Cover the pan until the shrimps are cooked.  They are cooked when the color of the shrimps have changed from grey to a bright orange/pink.

3.  Remove the cover and continue cooking for 5 minutes.  This allows the alcohol to evaporate, so you don't get buzzed while eating.  Serve over a bed of spaghetti.  Drizzle some of the sauce on the pasta.  Garnish with a dash of parsley.  Serve garlic bread on the side.

Bon Appetit!
